Coach Academy
Build better practices, sharpen your eye, and give feedback that sticks.
The Coach Academy is dedicated to discovering passionate, aspiring coaches and elevating their skills. As part of Spike Easy's mission to build a professional beach volleyball scene in San Francisco, we don't just train future players: we empower the coaches who will lead them.
It is completely normal to feel a bit uncomfortable when you first start coaching. Coaching goes far beyond just running drills, it is about understanding the game, the players and how to adapt to any situation.
In our professionally guided Coach-the-Coaches program, you will practice with other coaches to lern lesson planning step-by-step. You will discover which drills work best for each situation and learn how to handle unexpected moments with confidence.
This is your change to get various practices as a player while testing your skills as a coach in a supportive, risk-free environment.
